Keyboard - No app in Android Market!

The keys on my laptop stopped responding after some ants invaded the underside of it. I considered two options as a solution. One, get the keypad replaced - however if felt required model may take too long to come. Second option was to buy a wireless k/b - I thought I could use it on my TV attached to a wifi blue ray player that makes it somewhat smart - however, I was not sure if the k/b would work with the BR. The third idea was to turn to the Android Market to check if there is an application that can make my Nexux 7 work as a  k/b for my lap.

Finding none, I have now decided to wait a bit to see if the  k/b springs back to life after a few days of hard press typing.

Extended Sensitivities

Despite being 25 feet away from us the tip of a pole touching a jack-fruit can tell us if it is ripe or not.

The smell of food also gives us a clue of it's taste of weather it is sweet or sour

Do robots have that kind of a sensitivity?

Renovating a tiled floor

Titled floors often loose their color after many years of use. The floors still remain a leveled surface. Had there been a technology to redo the coloring even with a different shade or pattern, renovation costs could be brought down. Finishing the renovation and making a dwelling habitable again could leave minimal carbon foot print.
However, high temperatures may be needed to do the job which asks for new thoughts of renovating such tiles. New technologies if made available could even make the floors look not divided into squares.

What Computers will always lack

Human ability to forget is one great gift from God. An entire book may be dedicated discussing this topic and yet leave many advantages of forgetting untouched. Computers having permanent memories will never have the ability to forget.

Would it be advantageous if the smart machines forget stuff and still be as reliable as they are today? The human race progresses much because of it's ability to forget. However, smart machines made by them will never be able to take advantage of such a God given character.

Another human ability is the ability to doubt. Doubt makes a person think like no other factor. ver a Would a doubting computer be smart like a human?
